Concept Design

Each new concept starts with an idea, a market opportunity or a response to an already existing demand. New media and the Internet provide endless opportunities to combine such information to selling a product or service.
Alongside the creation of new interactive and multimedia concepts for our clients we develop our own new media concepts or participate as a consultancy or marketing partner.
The new media concepts we develop and manage use the technical and commercial potential of the Internet to meet the needs of different audiences.
Do you have an idea for a new product or service, or want to enter a new market? Then it is important that your ideas are supported by facts to determine viability. You must know that your idea will be successful and not just think so.
Concepts that are very likely to be successful are:
- Distinctive in the eyes of the consumer (not the marketer!)
- A response to clearly identified needs and/or market imperfections
- Designed for a specifically defined group of customers
- In balance on all parts (from brand to price, customer process to distribution)
TRESDOS is able to convert your ideas into a product or service that best suits the needs of the target audience and translate into a business case. We can provide you with full services regarding project management and supply you with all the documentation necessary to commence your project either under our own development or placed with a third party.

Functional design
The functional design is the translation of your concept (idea) to detailed level functionalities. The value of a good functional design is often underestimated. It gives you and the entire project team an overview of the entire contents of the project and each of the components separately. The charts and schemes that are included are helping the project team to identify the elements your project needs.
By investing sufficient time and attention in the creation of a good functional design development time will be reduced and your project will be cost effective. Many issues concerning the placement of content and functionality can be solved in the planning stage. The functional design will bring structure and possibilities for review during the development stage. This will allow the project leader to guard development time and monitor budgets. Ultimately, the functional design will serve as the basis for the technical design.
Technical Design
As the functionality of your project has been fully explored is the time to describe the technical constraints of project. The technical design supplies the programmers and other technical specialists with the data they need to commence working on your project. Often, the following conditions are laid down in the technical design:
- programming languages
- The preconditions that are made for linking the site to the existing systems (back-end)
- The structure of the databases used together with the layout of the database fields.
- The technical infrastructure, protocols and applications which the project will exploit.
- Security and system optimization
- Requirement Analysis Documents
For usability and accessibility integration we make use of our success model described in more detail on the successful web design page.
Time path
another required component is a detailed schedule wherein activities will be performed.
As many steps as possible need to be planned in advance. We can set up a detailed process planning that will also include the time for documenting, presenting and realizing a final prototype of the project.
